Terms and conditions


In the following general conditions of sale the following definitions are used :

“Seine Privée” means the commercial name of the company SARL Cadoux and the cruise service provided by the company.

“Customer” means the customer, natural or legal person who contracts with Seine Privée.

“Service“ and “Cruise” refer to all the services provided by Seine Privée, in particular cruises on the Seine but also catering services served on board.


Purpose of services

The Seine Privée Services consist of the organization of cruises on the Seine and its affluent around Paris.

Depending on the options chosen by the Client, a catering service may be served on board.

By booking a cruise, the Customer accepts without reservation the present General Conditions of Sale.

Seine Privée declares that it fulfils all mandatory legal obligations for the transport of persons on the Seine. Seine Privée declares that it has taken out specialized civil liability insurance for the transport of persons with Helvetia (contract no. 17 0478 01).


Reservation of your cruise and payment of the deposit

You can book your cruise either by phone on 06 58 12 80 73, or by email .

Seine Privée will confirm to the Client the availability of the crew, the desired time slot, any options chosen by the Client and the price of the Service, as soon as possible.

The reservation of your Cruise will be effective only as from the reception by Seine Privée of the payment of the deposit of 50% of the total amount of the Service. This payment will be made either by credit card via the link communicated by email, or by check, or by bank transfer to the account of Seine Privée whose details will be sent to you by email.

If the deposit is not paid, Seine Privée cannot guarantee the availability of the Service to the Client.

As soon as the deposit is received, Seine Privée will send an email confirming the booking which will specify the meeting point for embarkation and disembarkation, the number of people on board, the skipper’s contact details that you can contact for any additional information.


Payment of the balance of the Benefits and invoicing

The number of passengers can be modified up to 72 hours before the boarding date by email.

Embarkation on board will only take place if the entire service is paid for by the Client. It is recommended to pay for the Cruise before the boarding date. Otherwise payment will be made at the time of boarding only by credit card. The price of the Cruise includes the privatization of the boat for your cruise, a skipper with the required qualifications, the necessary fuel, and the services defined in the chosen service. Do not hesitate to contact us for any additional request that might satisfy you.


The price of the Service does not include : 

Transportation to and from the place of embarkation,

Any parking fees ,

All services not specified in the Service confirmation email.


Cancellation or postponement of the cruise by the Client

The cruise cancellation must be received by email at least 72 hours before boarding. In this case, Seine Privée will refund the entire deposit to the Client. Beyond 72 hours before boarding, the deposit of 50% of the price of the Services is not refunded.

The request to postpone the cruise must be received by email until 24 hours before boarding and must specify the new date and time requested by the Customer. Beyond that, the postponement is considered as a cancellation and the deposit of 50% of the price is not refunded to the Customer.

The Cruise can only be postponed once. Subject to the availability of the boat and the skipper, the Seine Privée team will confirm by email the new date and time of boarding for the cruise.

In case of unavailability, the Customer’s request for postponement is considered as a cancellation and no refund of the deposit will be possible.


Cancellation or postponement of the cruise by Seine Privée

Seine Privée is subject to the rules of navigation on the Seine imposed by the authorities who may prohibit the movement of boats at any time.

Seine Privée reserves the right to decide at any time whether or not it is possible to sail on the Seine, in particular for reasons of safety, damage to the boat, in the event of non-payment or in the event of bad weather endangering the safety of passengers.

In this case, Seine Privée proposes to the Client a later date to carry out his Cruise. Failing agreement with the Client, Seine Privée reimburses the sums received to the Client without any other compensation.


Interruptions during Cruise

The interruption during the cruise by the Customer’s will to give right to no refund or compensation.



The Customer is responsible for any loss or damage caused during the Cruise. It is his responsibility to replace or refund the lost or broken object belonging to Seine Privée.

The Client declares to be in good health to participate in the cruise.

Seine Privée declines all responsibility in the event of loss of objects belonging to the Client and falling into the water.

The Client undertakes to scrupulously respect the orders and all the safety instructions requested by the skipper.



Any complaint must be made by registered letter with acknowledgement of receipt within 15 days after the date of the Cruise to the following address:  Seine Privée 16 bis rue de l’Ermitage 92380 Garches France.


Rules for embarkation on board

The Customer must arrive at the boarding point at least 15 minutes before departure. Any delay by the Client is deducted from the cruise time. The minors on board are under the responsibility of the adults accompanying them,

Sorry for our favorite companions but Seine Privée does not accept any animals on board.

The maximum capacity on board is 12 people in addition to the crew.



For any dispute, the parties agree to submit their dispute to the Commercial Court of Paris.
